As <a href="http://twitter.com/usimod/status/4693132285">promised on twitte</a>r, we now have two new maps that have not been announced yet. And here we go. First off, there are two new screenshots of our new map, called Weapon Facility, which was made by our fellow modder and lead Mapping Artist [EoD]Junglist. You have already seen this map, but here are two small teasers for your pleasure:</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Now, let&#8217;s go to the new additions to the mod. The first new map we would like to show you, is the well-known Kashan Desert from the Project Reality Mod. We thought we would need a bigger map where you can take our big bad baby, the B52 Stratofortress, for a ride. Now, you finally can do so.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The second new map in our pool will be Ar Rawdatayn Oilfield. Besides Kashan Desert, this is our largest map so far, and it has been created by BSS Dev TrueSpirit. This also is his second map for USI, and even though it&#8217;s large and open, it has some nice spots to hang out and wait for the enemy. This is our first map to feature our very own F-117A Nighthawk and the BTR-50 APC from IDF.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">That&#8217;s it for this week&#8217;s pictures, but that&#8217;s not all. Guedoe has been playing with the BF2 engine and came up with something we have had planned for a while now: Let the environment come alive with our brand new Aircraft that fly over your head while you fight. We think they add alot to the gameplay atmosphere and really make the static map come alive. But watch the videos Guedoe recorded while testing his code. Please note that those things are still WIP or Work in Progress, so they are subject to change until release.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;">Hello again everyone. Today we are back with a new vehicle for you asset lovers out there. It actually has been modeled a few years ago and never made it ingame, but with 0.2 being our last public release, we thought it would be a waste to not finish it up. We are talking about the well-known <strong>BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicle</strong>. We have had the <strong>BMD1</strong> and <strong>BMD2</strong> for a while but while the Iraqi forces never really had alot of those, they had hundrets of BMPs in their motorpool. Reason enough for us to finally put in some BMP-2&#8242;s.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">If you want, you can get wet with it, because a very handy feature of it is that it is able to swim. Our variant will hold the driver&#8217;s position and 7 additional people, which gives us a total of 8 people. But don&#8217;t stay in there too long, because it&#8217;s not armored that good and can easily be taken out in two hits from an AT weapon of your choice. If it gets too hairy, deploy your six smoke grenades and back up. If you are more of a rambo-styled player, you can take out enemy tanks with your 30mm AP rounds and the tube-launched, wire-guided AT missiles. Either that or mow down some infantry with the coaxial 7.62mm PKT machine gun that holds 2,000 rounds. Enough words, let it rain some pictures.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Fun fact, we actually exported it twice: While <strong>petemonster</strong> modeled the original one, the updated one has more details added to the 3D mesh, as well as a higher resolution texture made by <strong>wolfi</strong>. At this point, we would like to thank <strong>jodonnell</strong> at the Forgotten Hope 2 Mod Team for his texturing tips. And that&#8217;s a wrap, we are done for this week. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;">After about a month of no updates, it&#8217;s time for a new one. We have been working hard over the past few weeks. In fact, there have been made so many changes that we decided that the name of the new release now officially is 0.2 instead of 0.18! The problem with bugfixes is, that you can not really show them with screenshots. So what should we show you? Well, we could show you some screenshots of the upcoming (and work in progress) maps for 0.2.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">First off, we have taken an existing map and converted it for use in USI. It was made by imtheheadhunter from BFSP and now has found its way to USI, where [EoD]Junglist has made it compatible and changed a few details. But enough speaking, have fun with the images we have prepared for you.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The next map we would like to show you does not have a name yet, but Junglist temporarily has named it Weapon Facility. This is a new thing for us, as it will be our first woodland map! The map is set in the green woodlands of northern iraq, where the iraqi army has a big storage with alot of ordnance. Inserted by UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters, the US troops have to advance to the facility and gain control over it. For this, we have given them a few M1A1 Abrams tanks, M2A2 Bradley IFVs and different light vehicles such as Humvees.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Map number three also does not have a name yet, but that won&#8217;t stop us from presenting it here! It was made by TrueSpirit, who originally came from XWW2 and joined us as a voluntary developer. The map consists of pure urban fight between US and iraqi forces. With some custom static objects added and recolored textures of original objects, the map adds a whole new feel to the battlefield.</p>
